Privacy policy

Unlearnly is a brand of Getconvi Technologies Private Limited, Bengaluru, India ("we"). This policy explains what we collect on unlearnly.com, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• When you sign up: your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number; the course you signed up from; the time, your IP address and browser type; and the exact consent wording you agreed to.
• While you learn (only after signing up): which course modules and slides you opened and your best quiz score.
• Before signing up: nothing personal. Courses store your place and quiz scores in your own browser only.

Why we use it

• To give you access to course modules and remember your progress.
• To email you a welcome note, course updates and new courses. Every email lets you opt out.
• To understand which lessons help people, so we can improve them.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third party advertising.

Where it is stored

Your record is kept in a secure database operated by Getconvi Technologies, shared across its education brands (Unlearnly and AI/SHIP), so that one person has one record. Every change to your record is written to a tamper evident audit log. Our service providers are Vercel (hosting), Neon (database) and Bird (email). Some of them may process data outside India under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

While you remain a learner, and up to 24 months after your last activity, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires otherwise.

Your rights

• See the data we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to erase it.
• Withdraw consent at any time. After withdrawal we stop contacting you; access you already had to free modules is unaffected.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.

Email hello@unlearnly.com from the address you signed up with. We reply within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Unlearnly courses are for people aged 18 and over. Please don't sign up if you are under 18. Our AI/SHIP programme for young people has its own parental consent process.
